The quality of valve installation directly affects the use, so special care must be taken.
1) The installation position, height and inlet and outlet direction must meet the design requirements. And the connection should be firm and firm.
2) Manual valves installed on insulated pipes shall not be operated downward.
3) The valve must be inspected visually before installation. The nameplate of the valve should conform to the current national standard “general valve mark” GB12220. For valves with working pressure greater than 1.0 MPa and cut-off function on the main pipe, strength and sealing performance tests should be carried out before installation, and the valve can only be used after passing. In the strength test, the test pressure is 1.5 times of the nominal pressure. And the duration is not less than 5min. Valve housing and packing shall be qualified without leakage. During the air tightness test, the test pressure is 1.1 times of the nominal pressure; During the test, the test pressure should meet the requirements of GB 50243 standard. And there is no leakage on the sealing surface of the disc.
